Answer: A physical assault on a person with a compromised spine could have resulted in paralysis or death = conspiracy to commit crimes, attempted murder, in addition to obstruction of justice and other crimes like false imprisonment and aggravated assault, and assault and battery, and assault on Robert Cross.
