--I was reading this report, a while back, so the situation may have changed, and I
don't have time, right now, to chase down that reference, nevertheless, the report said.....something along the lines of the Army felt it was doing its part on the ground, and the Air Force felt proud of the support they were giving to the Army, but, the Navy was just, kinda, sorta, hanging out in boats.....not doing too much, and feeling sorry for themselves........and you know how competitive they'all are....they wanted to get into the action.....so, I think the thought process went like this.......and I am making educated guesses......I could be wrong.....but, I think they decided to give the Navy the Home Front, and turn Adm. Mullen into a great, big, fat hero.....because, if Adm. Mullen successfully executes the principals of COIN [ the Counter Insurgency Field Manual ] in the United States........that would be.......VERY PRESIDENTIAL.
The field manual says that the institutions of society must have integrity, and represent the honest will of the people. The generals are aware that they cannot purport to execute these principals in Iraq and violate them in America.
Leaders in America agree with me, and I ran this past Congressman Mica's office too, we have violated our Constitution. We established religion. We are an illegitimate government. There is no separation of church and state. This situation has been going on for the past 40 years or so.
---In short, I vindicated you'all, and leveled the playing field, and it goes like this:
( 1 ) Maj. Gen. Robert Caslen, Jr. and all the other generals who were punished for violating the separation of church & state, did nothing wrong----with great respect, the Inspector Generals owe you'all an apology. Before they punished you'all for violating a standard of conduct, they had a responsibility to make sure that standard existed. It does not. Now, if the Inspector Generals were honorable, they would apologize to you'all, publicly [ they had no problem punishing you'all publicly ] and help Adm. Mullen [ Senator Moynihan would be very proud of me ].
( 2 ) I leveled the playing field. Iran has a rigged election; America has a rigged election. Iran has an illegitimate government; America has an illegitimate government. Iran has bad judges; America has bad judges. Iran hurts women with Soviet Union style-show trials; America hurts women in the same way too.
( 3 ) The Democrats have a big, sweeping, national issue: Health Care. In the words of Ronald Reagan.......Well......the Republicans have a big sweeping national issue too: Separation of Church & State. The Democrats want fairness in Health Care, and the Republicans want fairness, and equal access on their big national issue too.
[ When I talked with Major Madox on the West Point campus, I gave him documents, some of which I entered into my federal case(s), and I was told those papers were floating around ]
